Travels- Marocco part 5 - Casablanca

Po niezapomnianym pobycie na piaskach Sahary udałyśmy się autobusem do miasta Casablanca, które nam obu kojarzyło się wyłącznie ze słynnym filmem Curtiza. Nic bardziej mylnego. Po dotarciu na miejsce przekonałyśmy się, że słynna Casablanca to jednak coś zupełnie innego. Od początku  podczas naszej wędrówki  po mieście uderzył nas jego kontrast. Po jednej stronie w okolicach słynnej mariny mogłyśmy podziwiać nowoczesne, piękne budynki, natomiast po drugiej naszym oczom wyłaniał się obraz slumsów.
Najsłynniejszą budowlą w Casablance jest ogromny, położony tuż przy linii brzegowej przepiękny , turkusowy  meczet Hassana II. To głównie dla niego warto do tego miasta przyjechać.
Po dwóch dniach spędzonych w tym nieco bardziej przypominającym miasta Europy Zachodniej miejscu wsiadłyśmy do pociągu, z którego dalej autokarem udałyśmy się do tzw. błękitnego miasta.

After an unforgettable stayingt on the sands of the Sahara we went by bus to the city of Casablanca, which both of us associate only with the famous film  made by Curtiz. Nothing could be further from the truth. After reaching the place we had found out, that the famous Casablanca, however is something quite different. From the beginning, during our walking through the city we were hit by its contrast. From one side  near of the famous marina we could enjoy the modern, beautiful buildings, and on the other one to our eyes it showed a picture of the slums.

The most famous building in Casablanca is huge, located very close to the sea  beautiful, turquoise mosque Hassan II. It is mainly reason for that it's worth to visit Casablanca.
After two days that we spent in this place that is a little more like a Western European cities we took a train, and later  bus that it took us to the so-called Blue City...
