Lwów zachwyca zarówno ilością,
jakością jak i wystrojem lokali gastronomicznych szczególnie tych
umiejscowionych w starej części miasta. Do jednych z najbardziej znanych oraz
popularnych wśród nich należy Baczewski Restauracja przy ulicy Szewskiej 8.
Słynie ona z tradycyjnej kuchni galicyjskiej, a także z wyjątkowych śniadań w
otoczeniu dźwięków granej na żywo muzyki fortepianowej. Śniadania podawane są
między godzina 8 a 11 i już oda rana przed drzwiami restauracji tworzy się dość
spora kolejka chętnych, aby zobaczyć to miejsce od wewnątrz. Nam udało dostać się
do środka już podczas pierwszego dnia pobytu we Lwowie i mimo ogromnego
zmęczenia
(
kilkunasto godzinna całonocna jazda bez snu robi swoje) byliśmy tym miejscem
oczarowani.
Lviv impresses with
both the quantity, quality and design of gastronomic places, especially those
located in the old part of the city. One of the most well-known and popular
ones among of them is the Baczewski Restaurant at 8 Szewska Street. It is
famous for its traditional Galician cuisine and exceptional breakfasts that you
can eat surrounded by the sounds of live piano music. Breakfasts are served
between 8 am and 11 am and already since early morning hours before the restaurant door you can see a large
queue of people whose want to see this place from the inside. We managed to get
inside during the first day of our stay in Lviv and despite the huge tiredness (many
hours all-night drive without sleep have made this) we were totally charmed by
this place.
Restauracja Baczewski swoją nazwę
zawdzięcza bardzo znanej założonej w 1782 firmie rodzinnej słynącej z produkcji
wódki oraz domowych nalewek oraz likierów ( ponad 80 rodzajów - można je nabyć
w bardzo przystępnych cenach na miejscu w sklepiku umieszczonym po prawej
stronie korytarza prowadzącego do restauracji).
W
chwili przekroczenia drzwi do restauracji oczarowuje nas piękne wnętrze.
Znajduje się tam fortepian, klatki z kanarkami oraz papugami oraz mnóstwo
roślinności. Podchodzimy do wyznaczonego nam stołu, zostawiamy tam nasze rzeczy
i ruszamy w kierunku stołów, aby nałożyć na talerz wszystko na co mamy ochotę.
The Baczewski Restaurant owes its name to the well-known family business founded
in 1782, famous cause of vodka and home liqueurs production (over 80 kinds of them -
you can buy them at very good prices on the shop located on the right side of the corridor
leading to the restaurant).
When we cross the door to the restaurant, we are enchant by beautiful interior.
There is a piano, cages with canaries and parrots and lots of plants around. We approach
the table pointed for us by the waiter, we leave our stuff there and we go towards to
the tables to put everything we want to eat for our breakfast.

Jeżeli chodzi o śniadanie jest ono podawane jak już wcześniej wspomniałam pomiędzy godziną 8 a 11. Kosztuje 130 hrywnie za osobę ( około 17 złotych, 4 Euro).
W skład śniadania wchodzi:
- jedzenie ( jesz ile chcesz, byle nie zostawić resztek)
- ciepły napój kawa lub herbata ( 1 sztuka)
- 1 kieliszek wina lub wódki ( do wyboru)
Dodatkowo można zamówić omlet, jajecznicę lub naleśniki, które obsługa restauracji przyniesie nam do stolika.
If we are talking about the breakfast it is served as I mentioned earlier between 8 and 11.
It costs 130 UAH per person (about 17 zlotys, 4 euros).
The breakfast includes:
- food (you can eat as much as you like, but remember to not leave any food on the plates)
- warm drink with coffee or tea (1 cup)
- 1 glass of wine or vodka (optional)
In addition, you can order omelet, scrambled eggs or pancakes, which restaurant service
will bring to your table.
