W ramach naszych comiesięcznych randek, Kuba zabrał mnie tym razem do wyróżnionej w przewodniku Michelin 2026  włoskiej restauracji Marino Bistrot. Miejsce to powstało dzięki grupie ludzi z wspólną pasją do gotowania i chęcią dzielenia się tą pasją  z innymi. Miejsce to oferuje lubianą przez miliony ludzi kuchnie włoską w nieco innej, modernistycznej odsłonie. Wszystkie dania przygotowywane są wyłącznie z oryginalnych, produkowanych w Włoszech produktów a także produktów regionalnych, dzięki którym restauratorzy wspierają lokalne biznesy.

Miejsce zachwyca pięknym nowoczesnym brutalistycznym wystrojem. Jednak nie brakuje w nim ciepłych akcentów w postaci kwiatów czy obrazów. Naszą kolację rozpoczęliśmy od podzielenia się przystawką Arancini di Triglia., podanych  z szafranem, grillowaną rybą Barwena, otoczoną sosem czosnkowo-koperkowy oraz posypaną pyłem limonkowym. I muszę Wam powiedzieć, że było to najpyszniejsze Arancini jakie jadłam w życiu. I na pewno chętnie na nie tam wrócę.

Jako danie główne mój Kuba wybrał Spaghettoni alla Carbonara con Tartufo. I tutaj chaciałbym wspomnieć, że niesamowicie miłym akcentem było to, iż sam szef kuchni pojawił się u nas przy stoliku i posypał osobiście jego danie świeżo startą truflą. Jeżeli chodzi o mnie i danie główne, to ja skusiłam się na Melanzane alla Parmigiana, czyli zapiekany bakłażan. Sposób podania oraz połączenie smaków oraz sosów w tym daniu było wyborne. Bardzo Wam je polecam.

Na koniec oboje zdecydowaliśmy się przetestować kartę deserów. Kuba wybrał tajemniczo brzmiącą pozycję - Oopss... upuściłem tatrę cytrynową. Ja natomiast skusiłam się na lody rzemieślnicze z espresso. Oba desery były przepięknie zaserwowane. Smakowo także nas pozytywnie zaskoczyły.

To była nasza pierwsza wizyta w Marino Bistrot, ale zapewniam Was, że nie ostatnia ponieważ mamy niesamowitą ochotę wypróbować  inne pozycje z karty. Bardzo pozytywnie oceniamy także obsługę, która ciekawie opowiadała o podawanych nam potrawach, a także chętnie odpowiadała na nasze pytania. Zatem jeśli będziecie w Poznaniu i będziecie mieli ochotę na prawdziwą kuchnię włoską w niecodziennej, ale znakomitej smakowo odsłonie to bardzo Wam z Kubą to miejsce z całego serca polecamy.

As part of our monthly dates, Kuba took me this time to Marino Bistrot, an Italian restaurant featured in the 2026 Michelin Guide. This place was created by a group of people who share a passion for cooking and a desire to share that passion with others. The restaurant offers Italian cuisine—loved by millions—with a slightly different, modern twist. All dishes are prepared exclusively with authentic, Italian-made ingredients as well as regional products, through which the restaurant owners support local businesses.

The place impresses with its beautiful, modern brutalist design. However, it also features warm touches in the form of flowers and paintings. We started our dinner by sharing the Arancini di Triglia appetizer, served with saffron, grilled barwena fish, topped with a garlic-dill sauce, and sprinkled with lime zest. And I have to tell you, it was the most delicious arancini I’ve ever had in my life. I’ll definitely be happy to go back there for them.

For his main course, my Kuba chose Spaghettoni alla Carbonara con Tartufo. And here I’d like to mention that it was an incredibly nice touch that the head chef himself came over to our table and personally sprinkled his dish with freshly grated truffle. As for me and my main course, I went for the Melanzane alla Parmigiana, or baked eggplant. The presentation and the combination of flavors and sauces in this dish were exquisite. I highly recommend it to you.

Finally, we both decided to try something from the dessert menu. Kuba chose a mysteriously named item—“Oops… I dropped the lemon tarta.” As for me, I went for the artisanal ice cream with espresso. Both desserts were beautifully presented. We were also pleasantly surprised by how they tasted.

This was our first visit to Marino Bistrot, but I can assure you it won’t be our last, because we’re really eager to try other items on the menu. We also had a very positive experience with the staff, who gave us interesting insights into the dishes we were served and were happy to answer our questions. So if you’re ever in Poznań and are in the mood for authentic Italian cuisine presented in an unconventional yet delicious way, Kuba and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to you.

Pamiętam że, gdy byłam młodsza i oglądałam serial "Sex w wielkim mieście" marzyłam o tym, aby mieć taką babską grupę przyjaciółek, z którymi można byłoby o wszystkim porozmawiać. Bardzo podobał mi się ten serialowy koncept kobiecej przyjaźni. Przyjaciółki ( łącznie cztery) oczywiście były obecne w moim życiu, ale spotykałam się z każdą z nich osobno, ponieważ poznałam je w różnych okolicznościach i etapach życia. Na taką prawdziwą, trochę „filmową”, babską paczkę musiałam jeszcze trochę poczekać. I zdecydowanie było warto.

Poznałyśmy się w tym samym miejscu pracy, jeszcze przed pandemią – w czasach, gdy obecność w biurze była obowiązkowa każdego dnia, a o pracy zdalnej nikt nawet nie myślał. Codzienne rozmowy przy lunchu bardzo nas do siebie zbliżyły, aż pewnego dnia postanowiłyśmy spotykać się także poza pracą. Później przyszła pandemia, a z czasem niektóre z nas zaczęły zmieniać pracę. Pamiętam, że miałam obawy, czy jako paczka damy radę przetrwać, czy też każda z nas pójdzie swoją drogą. Nasza przyjaźń jednak przetrwała. Czas pokazał, że są rzeczy ważniejsze niż samo miejsce pracy, które naszą przyjaźń zapoczątkowało. Świętujemy wspólnie nasze urodziny. Towarzyszymy sobie podczas ważnych momentów w życiu. Pomagamy nawzajem i wspieramy. Jesteśmy od siebie różnie, ale przebywając razem stanowimy naprawdę zgraną ekipę.

W tym roku po raz pierwszy postanowiłyśmy wybrać się na nasz pierwszy, wspólny, weekendowy babski wyjazd. Rozważałyśmy różne opcje odnośnie naszej destynacji, jednak ostatecznie zdecydowałyśmy się na Gdynię. Głównym celem naszego wyjazdu było wspólne spędzenie czasu, ale przy okazji udało nam się również zwiedzić Muzeum Emigracji w Gdyni, w którym spędziłyśmy kilka godzin, poznając jego interesujące ekspozycje. Następnie koleją miejską wybrałyśmy się do Sopotu, gdzie nie mogło zabraknąć spaceru po słynnym sopockim molo. Cały wyjazd wspominamy bardzo miło i już nieśmiało zaczynamy snuć plany dotyczące kolejnego babskiego weekendu w przyszłym roku.

Czy Wy macie takie swoje babskie/męskie grono z którym się przyjaźnicie i z którym lubicie razem spędzać czas? Czy czasami organizujecie też takie wspólne wyjazdy? Cieplutko Was pozdrawiam.

I remember that when I was younger and watched the TV series "Sex and the City", I used to dream of having a group of female friends like that, with whom I could talk about absolutely anything. I really loved the show’s take on female friendship. I did, of course, have friends (four in total) in my life, but I used to meet up with each of them separately, as I’d met them in different circumstances and at different stages of my life. I had to wait a little longer for a real, slightly ‘film-like’ group of girlfriends. And it was definitely worth the wait.

We met at the same workplace, before the pandemic – back when turning up at the office every day was compulsory, and nobody had even thought of working remotely. Our daily chats over lunch really brought us closer together, until one day we decided to meet up outside of work as well. Then the pandemic hit, and over time some of us started changing jobs. I remember worrying whether we’d manage to stay together as a group, or whether we’d all go our separate ways. Our friendship, however, has endured. Time has shown that there are things more important than the workplace itself, which was where our friendship began. We celebrate our birthdays together. We’re there for one another during important moments in life. We help and support one another. We’re all different, but when we’re together we make a really close-knit team.

This year, for the first time, we decided to go on our first girls’ weekend away together. We considered various options for our destination, but in the end we settled on Gdynia. The main aim of our trip was to spend time together, but we also managed to visit the Emigration Museum in Gdynia, where we spent a few hours exploring its fascinating exhibitions. We then took the tram to Sopot, where a stroll along the famous Sopot pier was a must. We have very fond memories of the whole trip and are already tentatively starting to make plans for our next girls’ weekend next year.
