odwiedzić wystawę
"La Chapelle songs for the world" Davida Lachapelle. Ta wyjątkowe wydarzenie związane jest z 15-leciem istnienia Starego
Browaru w Poznaniu. Do galerii sztuki z tej okazji trafiło
57 prac autora a ich tematyka , o czym przekonali się uczestnicy wydarzenia jest
bardzo zróżnicowana.
David Lachapelle to jeden z
najoryginalniejszych współczesnych fotografów modowych ( zresztą nie tylko). Inspiracją dla jego prac stały się min. surrealizm, estetyka
campu oraz twórczość Andyego Warhola.
W swoich dziełach bardzo często porusza tematykę absurdu życia codziennego, nawiązuję do technologii, mitologii a także motywów
biblijnych. Skupia się przede wszystkim na
wrażeniu oraz uwadze odbiorcy. Dlatego też jego prace pełne są
wyrazistych, wręcz neonowych kolorów oraz kiczu. Zmuszają
do głębszej refleksji oraz zastanowienia się nad współczesnym stanem rzeczy.
A niejednokrotnie wręcz swojego odbiorcę szokują.
Nietuzinkowe nasycenie barw, nawiązania
do popkultury oraz przestylizowanie pewnych elementów sprawia, iż zdjęcia autorstwa Lachapelle w pewien sposób
stają się
ucztą dla naszych oczu oraz spragnionych głębszego zastanowienia się nad otaczającą nas rzeczywistością
dusz.

Some time ago I had
the opportunity to visit David Lachapelle's exhibition "La Chapelle songs
for the world". This unique event is related to the 15th anniversary of
the existence of Stary Browar in Poznań. To the gallery on
this occasion delivered 57 works of the
author and their subject matter, as the participants of the event found out, is
very diverse.
David Lachapelle is one
of the most modern contemporary fashion photographers (not only). The
inspiration for his work has been among others surrealism, aesthetics of the camp
and the work of Andy Warhol. In his works, he often discusses the subject of
the absurdity of everyday life, he refers also to technology, mythology and
biblical motifs. He focuses primarily on the impression and the attention of
the recipient. That is why his works are full of expressive neon colors and daub.
They force us to reflect more deeply and to think little more about modern state of the world. And often they
shock their recipient.
Unusual saturation of
colors, references to pop culture and over stylization of certain elements
makes the photos made by Lachapelle in some way become a feast for our eyes and those who
are thirsty to think deeply about the reality of that surrounds us souls.
