Filmy pokochałam już w dzieciństwie. Od zawsze zabierały mnie w świat niesamowitych historii. Wielekrotnie oplecionych niezapomnianą ścieżką muzyczną. Każdy z nich to odmienna opowieść. Osadzona w innym miejscu, czasie oraz przestrzeni. W tym miesiącu na sali kinowej  miałam mozliwość obejrzenia kilka filmów z totalnie różnorodnych gatunków. Jestem ciekawa czy i Wam udało się obejrzeć któryś z nich.

I have loved movies in my childhood. They have always taken me into the world of amazing stories. Repeatedly entwined with an unforgettable music track. Each of them is a different story. Embedded in a different place, time and space. This month at the cinema I had the opportunity to watch a few films from totally different genres. I am curious if you had a chance to see any of them .

1 .W domu innego / The Aftermatch

 Osadzona w powojennym Hamburgu opowieść o ludziach, których połączyło osobiste oblicze dramatu II wojny światowej.Ten film to także historia miłości oraz  podziałów  międzyludzkich. Otoczona piękną oprawą muzyczną.

Precipated out in  post-war Hamburg - a story about people who have been joined by  the personal tragedy of the Second World War. This film is also a story about love and interpersonal divisions. Surrounded by a beautiful music.

 

2. Dumbo

Fabularna ekranizacja słynnej bajki Disney'a - Dumbo. Dla mnie ten film piękny powrót do dzieciństwa.

Feature filming of the famous Disney animation movie - Dumbo. For me, this film is a beautiful comeback to my childhood.

 

3. Impostor/ The hole in the ground

Mimo dobrego poczatku i potencjału w tym gatunku, niestety im dalej, tym gorzej.

A szkoda .....

Despite the good beginning and potential in this genre, unfortunately with time is worse and worse.

What's a  a pity .....

 

4. Przedszkolanka/ Kindergarden teacher

Historia ogarniętej obsesją przedszkolanki ( w tej roli rewelacyjna Maggie Gyllenhaal). Z drugiej strony ten film to także opowieść o spadku roli kultury oraz sztuki w świecie zdominowanym przez telefony komórkowe i inne technologie.

A story of a  obsessed kindergarten (in this role amazing Maggie Gyllenhaal). On the other hand, this film is also a story about the decline of the role of culture and art in a world dominated by mobile phones and other technologies.

 

5. Biały kruk/ The white crow

Historia jednego z najbardziej charakterystycznych tancerzy baletowych Rudolfa Nureyeva. Ukazana w 3 płaszczyznach czasowych : w okresie dzieciństwa, na etapie edukacji oraz w momencie obecnym. Ukazana w czasach twającej zimnej wody. 

The story of one of the most characteristic ballet dancers - Rudolf Nureyev. Presented in three periods of time: during childhood, at the phase of education and at the present moment. The action of the movie takes place during  time of cold water.

6- Wilcze Echa/ LE chant de loup 

 Propozycja filmowa z Francji. Spójna, pełna napięcia fabuła, ciekawe postacie i bardzo dobry dźwięk :-)

A movie proposition straightly  from France. A coherent, tense plot with interesting characters and a very good sound.

 

7- Przypły wiary/ Breakthrough

Film oparty na prawdziwych wydarzeniach. Opowiada piękną historię pewnego cudu. Pełen emocji. W moim przypadku nie obyło sie bez chusteczek.

A movie based on real story. It tells a beautiful story of a miracle. Full of emotions. In my case I couldn't watch it without handkerchiefs

 

8- After /After

Poszłam do kina z nieco sceptycznym nastawieniem, gdyż  miała to być now wersja filmowa w stylu 50 twarzy Greya. Jednak po obejrzeniu filmu stwierdzam, że na szczęście to raczej inny kierunek. Scenariusz filmu oparty  jest na książce. Fabuła bardzo schematyczna jednak świeża, młoda obsada sprawiła, że film ku mojemu zaskoczeniu ogladało się całkiem przyjemnie.

I went to the cinema with a slightly skeptical attitude, because it was supposed to be a new movie version in the style of 50 shades of Grey. However after watching this film, I say that luckily it's little different direction. A script based on a book, a very schematic plot, however, a fresh, young cast made that the movie screening was quite pleasant.

 

9. Avengers- end  game/ Avengers koniec gry

Ostatnia, kończąca cykl Avengersów część całej serii. Warto obejrzeć chociażby dla finałowej sceny bitwy.

The last, ending series of the Avengers part of the whole series. It is worth seeing at least for the final scene of the battle.

Luty w świecie filmów to miesiąc Oscarów - nagrody uważanej w przemyśle filmowym za najważniejszą w tej dziedzinie. W Polsce wiele spośród filmów nominowanych do tej nagrody możecie obejrzeć właśnie w lutym. Jak je oceniam , co polecam możecie przekonać się sprawdzając poniższe zestawienie filmów obejrzanych na dużym ekranie w tym miesiącu. Miłej lektury :-)

February in the movie world is the month of Oscars - an award considered the most important  in the film industry. In Poland, many of the films nominated for this award you could see during February. How do I rate them, what I recommend you - you can find out by checking the following list of movies that I watched on the big screen this month. Enjoy  :-)

1. Anioł/El Angel

 

Propozycja do tegorocznych Oscarów prosto z Argentyny. Ten film jednak to dla mnie spore roczarowanie. Luźno opowiedziana biografia jednego z njasłynniejszych młodocianych zabójców nazywanego " Aniołem śmierci", który na swym koncie miał liczne kradzieże oraz zabójstwa - w tej roli bardzo dobrze sprawdził sie debiutujący Lorenzo Ferro. Mocnym punktem filmu oprócz głównego aktora są : scenografia oraz ścieżka dźwiękowa. Reszta niestety wypadła w moim odczuciu dość nijako.

A proposal for this year's Oscars coming straight from Argentina. This film, however, is a great disappointment for me. A loosely told biography one of the most famous younger junior killers called "The Angel of Death", who in his account had numerous thefts and murders - Lorenzo Ferro debuted in this role  is very good. The strong point of the film next to the actor playing leading role are: set design and soundtrack. The rest, unfortunately,  in my opinion  is rather quite vaguely.




2. Maria - królowa Szkotów - Mary queen of Scots

Film kostiumowy opowiadający historię dwóch królowych : Szkocji oraz Anglii, które prowadzą między sobą walkę o tron. Ciekawa obsada aktorska, charakteryzacja oraz kostiumy na pewno przypadna fanom gatunku.

A costume film telling the story of two queens: Scotland and England, who are fighting between each other for the throne. An interesting cast , make-up and costumes will surely appeal to fans of the genre.


3. Green book 

Bardzo dobra pozycja kinowa z wątkami poruszajacymi kwestie rasizmu w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Pracujący na co dzień  w klubie Tony zwany " Warą" zostaje zatrudnony jak osobisty kierowca czarnoskórego wirtouza fortepianu doktora Dona Shirleya - tak rozpoczyna się historia niezwykłej przyjaźni z przepiękną ścieżką zdjęciową w tle. Bardzo polecam.

Very good cinema position with threads touching on issues of racism in the United States. Tony called "Lips" working usually in the club is employed as a personal driver of the black piano virtuoso Dr. Don Shirley - this is how the begin the story of an extraordinary friendship with a beautiful soundtrack in the background. I highly recommend.

4. Faworyta - The Favourite

 

"Faworyta" to najnowsza propozycja kinowa reżysera słynnego filmu "Kieł". Na dworze królowej Anny pojawia się nowa służca Abigail - wkrótce nowo przybyła kobieta zaczyna zagrażać pozycji lady Sarah, która do tej pory bez większych problemów rządzi w imieniu schorowanej władczyni.

 Świetnie obsadzona i zagrana ( brawa dla wszystkich trzech pań), świetne kostiumy oraz scenografia. A w tle muzyka organowo barokowa oraz interesujaca praca kamery z wykorzystaniem tzw. efektu rybiego oka :-)

"Favorite" is the latest cinema proposition from the director of the famous movie "Kynodontas". At the royal court of Queen Anne, a new servant Abigail appears - soon the newly arrived woman begins to threaten the position of Lady Sarah, who until now has ruled without any problems in the name of not having well queen.


  Amazing  cast and their acting skills (applause for all three ladies), great costumes and set design. And in the background organ-baroque music and interesting camera work that using the so-called. fish-eye effect :-)



5. Planeta Singli 3

Trzecia część z serii filmów. Tym razem para głownych bohaterów zamierza stanąć na ślubnym kobiercu. Jedank wymarzony ślub okazuje się być inny niż przewidywano. Sporo zabawnych scen. Polecam dla tych , którzy w kinie poszukują czegoś lekkiego.

The third part from the film series. This time, the pair of main characters decided to getting married. However a wedding dream is going to be different than they expected. A lot of funny scenes. I recommend for those who are looking for something light at the cinema.

6. Miszmasz czyli kogel mogiel 3 

Syn, głównej bohaterki Kasi powraca po latach do kraju co staje się przyczyną najróżniejszych sytuacji.
Jak dla mnie słabiutku. Dawno nie czułam się w kinie podczas ogladania filmu tak znudzona. Komedia, a jednak scen, z których można byłoby się naprawdę pośmiać zabrakło. Dla mnie miszmasz, którego niestety nie bardzo da się oglądać.

The son of the main character, Kasia, after many years has decided to return to Poland, which causes various situations. In my opinion very weak film. Since long time I didn't feel so bored at a movie theater during watching the movie.This is a comedy, but  I can't find any scene in this film that made me laugh. For me it's a hotchpotch which unfortunately is difficult to watch.
7. Glass 

Trzecia część z serii - łącząca w sobie głównych bohaterów filmu Split oraz Niezniszczalny. 

Jest subtelnie, emocjonalnie a super bohaterowie ukazani są w bardzo ludzki sposób. Ten film to pewnego rodzaju geneza bohaterów oraz ich słabości.

The third part from the series - combining the main characters from the the films : Split and Unbreakable.
It is subtle, emotional story where the super heroes are shown in a very human way. This film is a kind of genesis of heroes and their weaknesses.

8. Alita - battle Angel 

 

Manga przeniesiona na duży ekran. Szczerze byłam bardzo sceptycznie nastawiona do tego filmu. W trakcie seansu jednak zmieniłam o nim zdanie. Nawet duże oczy Ality przestały mi przeszkadzać.

Manga transferred to the big screen. On the beginning I was honestly very skeptical about this movie. During the session at the movie theater, however, I've changed my mind about them. Even Alita's big eyes didn't disturbing me any more :-)

9.- Prodigy.Opętany/ The Prodigy

 

Historia chłopczyka opanowanego przez ducha mordercy. Film całkiem niezły, mimo przewidywalnego zakończenia . W głowie jednak zostaje po seansie motyw muzyczny nucony przez głównego bohatera.

The story of a boy controlled by the ghost of a murderer. The film is quite good, despite predictable ending. After the film you don't forget the characteristic musical motif  hummed by the main character.


10.Zakon Świętej Agaty/ Saint Agatha

Całkiem ciekawie zrealizowany horror. Główna bohaterka znajdująca się w ciężkiej życiowej sytuacji trafia do domu opieki dla przyszłych matek prowadzącego przez zakonnice. Niestety miejsce to nie jest w rzeczywistości takim jakim na pozór wydaje się być

Quite interestingly realized horror movie. The main character is in a difficult life situation goes to a rest home for future mothers led by nuns. Unfortunately, this place is not really what it seems to be.

11. Kobiety mafii 2

Druga część z serii filmów Vegi, w której panie przejmują stery władzy w organizacjach mafijnych.Trucizny, piły, śrubokręty oraz inne typowo "kobiece" gadżety w akcji... Jak dla mnie słabiutko. 

The second part from the series of Vega films, in which ladies take the  power in mafia organizations. Poisons, saws, screwdrivers and other typically "feminine" gadgets in action ... For me, very weak film.

12. Kafarnaum / Capernaum

 

Film mnie zachwycił. Piękne zdjęcia, bardzo dobrze zagrany. Ponadto chwytająca za serce opowieść o róznych odcieniach macierzyństwa, a także przedwczesnego dorastania przez dzieci, których najwcześniejsze lata życia determinuje fakt przyjścia na świat w takiej, a nie innej rodzinie. Film zdecydowanie wart obejrzenia.

The movie delighted me. Beautiful pictures, very well played.And extra a heart-catching story telling about different shades of motherhood and  as well as about a premature growing up by children, whose earliest years of life is determined by the fact of coming into the world in that and not a other family. A movie definitely worth to watch.


13. Gdyby ulica Beale mogła mówić/ If Beale street could talk

 

Kolejna oscarowa propozycja poruszajaca problemy oraz sytuację czarnoskórych obywateli USA. Film subtelny, opowiadający o sile miłości, z pięknym motywem muzycznym w tle.

Another Oscar proposition touching the problems and the situation of black US citizens. A subtle movie, telling about the power of love, with a beautiful musical theme in the background.

Niegdyś uważany za symbol marynarzy oraz więźniów; w dzisiejszym świecie na stałe zawitał do kanonów mody. Stał się czymś więcej niż pięknym obrazkiem na skórze - tatuaż, bo to o nim dziś mowa, ma często dla właściciela znaczenie symboliczne. Jest obecnie popularny nie tylko wśród osób znanych, ale także tych, których na co dzień mijamy na ulicy.

Pierwotnie tatuaże miały wymiar rytualny. Zdobili się nim wojownicy po zabiciu swojego wroga i zdobycia jego wytatuowanej głowy.

Z pewnością były znane w czasach Starożytnych - Trakowie tatuowali dzieci pochodzące z szanowanych rodów, tymczasem u Getów czy Rzymian tatuażami ozdabiano niewolników oraz złoczyńców. Dzięki tym ostatnim przez wieki były one symbolami przede wszystkim środowisk przestępczych.

Jeżeli zdecydujesz się na zrobienie tatuażu pamiętaj, o tym, aby zawsze wykonywała go osoba wykwalifikowana w tej dziedzinie . Koniecznie przed procesem zrobienia tatuażu sprawdź studio oraz panujące w nim warunki higieniczne. W czasie zabiegu istnieje bowiem  ryzyko zakażenia takimi wirusami jak HIV, HBV oraz HCV. Z tego powodu igły powinny być w związku z tym zawsze jednorazowego użytku a tatuażysta powinien mieć  na dłoniach w trakcie wykonywania zabiegu rękawiczki.

Z pewnością zapytacie jak to jest z kwestią bólu podczas zabiegu - posiadam dwa tatuaże i wykonanie każdego z nich mogę śmiało porównać do zabiegu depilacji za pomocą depilatora elektrycznego.

Po wykonaniu tatuaż zostaje zabezpieczony folią, a następnie przez okres 2-3 tygodni należy smarować go specjalną maścią przyspieszającą jego właściwe gojenie.

Once it was considered as a symbol of sailors and prisoners; in today's world it get into the canons of fashion. It became something more than a beautiful picture on the skin - a tattoo, because I talk about them today, often it has a symbolic meaning for the owner. It is now popular not only among celebrities , but also among those who we pass every day on the street.

Originally tattoos had a ritual dimension. They made them warriors after killing their enemy and taking its tattooed head.
Certainly they were known in ancient times - the Thracians tattooed children from respected families, while at the Getaes or Roman tattoos covered the bodies of slaves and villains. Thanks to the last ones for centuries, they were symbols of how-life.

If you decide to make a tattoo, remember to always find a qualified person who works in this branch. Be sure to check out the studio and the hygiene conditions prevailing in it. During the process of making tattoo there is always a risk of infection with viruses such as HIV, HBV and HCV. For that reason  is important to use only disposable needles and the tattoo artist should have always gloves on his hands during the procedure.

Before you the visit the tattoo to make a tattoo remember:

- Do not drink alcohol
- Do not take blood thinners
- do not  take any sunbathes
- think about a pattern before
- Ask for a tattoo test before, then you will be know how it will be look like on the skin after making them.

Surely you will ask how it is with this all issue of pain during the procedure of making tattoo - I have two tattoos on my body  and process making each of them I can confidently compare to the procedure of hair removal using by an electric epilator.

After making a tattoo, it should be protected by the film, and then for 2-3 weeks it should be lubricated with a special ointment accelerating its proper healing.

"Jeżeli nie lubisz czytać, nie znalazłeś właściwej książki" napisała J.K Rowling. I coś w tych słowach faktycznie jest. Trudna, mało interesująca, źle napisana książka może znięchęcać. Natomiast taka, która w jakiś sposób "dotyka" naszego prywatnego świata wręcz odwrotnie. Życzę Wam, abyście w tym roku trafiali wyłącznie na ten drugi rodzaj książek.

“If you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book.” - wrote J.K Rowling.And there is something in this words. Difficult,  not interesting , badly written book can be repulsive. However, one that in some way "affects" our private world it can be just the opposite of it. I wish you, this year, only read the second type of the books.

1. Jack Ketchum "Straceni"/ "The lost" (7/10)

Książka opowiada o toksycznej relacji trójki młodych ludzi Tima, Jennifer oraz Ray'a-który stoi na  ich czele. Pewnego dnia dopuszcza sie on morderstwa dwóch młodych dziewczyn. Nie ponosi jednak z tego tytułu żadnych konsekwencji.Po  czterech latach sprawą powyżych morderstw zajmuje się detektyw Schilling, który nie ma zamiaru spocząć dopóki nie odkryje zabójcy. Tymaczasem  w mieście pojawia się nowa dziewczyna - Katherine co powoduje,że zabawa dla Raya dopiero sie zaczyna... 

The book tells a story about toxic relationship of three young people, Tim, Jennifer and Ray-who is their leader. One day, he commits the murder of two young girls. However, he didn't bear the consequences cause of this what he done.  After four years, the case of the above-mentioned murders is investigated by Detective Schilling, who has no intention of resting until he finds the killer. Meanwhile, a new girl Katherine appears in the city, which makes Ray's fun just beginning ...

 

2.  Joanna Opiat -Bojarska  " Koneser"

Seks biznes, rynek handlu organami ludzkimi - to główne wątki książki Joanna Opiat Bojarskiej "Koneser".  W krótkim odstępie czasu w Poznaniu zostają znalezione przez przypadkowe osoby dwa ciała: mężczyzny oraz kobiety. Dwóch detektywów: doświadczony Burzyński oraz niedawno zaczynający służbę w szeregach policji młody detektyw Majewski rozpoczynają śledztwo. Pomaga im w tym doświadczona pani antropolog Anita Broll. 

Sex business, traffic of human's organg - these are the main topics of the plot of the book written by Joanna Opiat Bojarska "Connoisseur". In a short  time in Poznań, two bodies- a man and a woman are found by accidental persons. Two detectives: an experienced Burzyński and a young detective Majewski, who is just beginning to serve in the police ranks, are starting an investigation.And it helps them in this one the experienced anthropologist Anita Broll.

3. Rowan Coleman, Cara Delevingne " Mirror, Mirror"

Red, Leo, Rose oraz Naomi to czwórka przyjaciół, których łaczy zespół muzyczny Mrirror Mirror. Pewnego dnia Naomi zostaje wyciągnietą z rzeki. Pozostaje w śpiączce, a tymczasem jej przyjaciele próbują rozwikłać zagadkę jak do tego doszło. Ciekawie skonstruowany thriller młodzieżowy poruszający szereg pobocznych, ważnych wątków. 

Red, Leo, Rose and Naomi are four friends who are joined by the music band Mrirror Mirror. One day, Naomi is pulled out from the river. She stays in a coma, and meanwhile her friends try to resolve the mystery of how this is happened. An interestingly constructed youth thriller - touching a number of minor, important problems - threads.
