Jak już wiecie z poprzedniej części - do Amalfi dotarliśmy z przygodami. W Praiano, w którym znaleźliśmy się nieco przypadkiem, zdecydowaliśmy się poczekać na kolejny autobus jadący w kierunku, w którym zmierzaliśmy. Po kilkunastu minutach oczekiwania, na przystanek autobusowy podjechał duży samochód osobowy. Jego kierowca spytał czy nie potrzebujemy transportu, po chwili zastanowienia stwierdziliśmy, że w sumie czemu nie i ustaliliśmy naprawdę bardzo korzystną cenę z przejazd pod sam hotel, w którym mieliśmy zarezerwowany nocleg. Dzięki temu znacznie szybciej mogliśmy zameldować się w naszym znajdującym się tuż na samym klifie hotelu La Ninfa mieszczącym się na obrzeżach Amalfi. W samym hotelu wrażenie zrobił na nas widok z okien - jedzenie pysznego śniadania z widokiem na morze robi jednak niesamowite wrażenie.
As you already know from the previous part - we arrived in Amalfi with adventures. In Praiano, where we found ourselves somewhat by accident, we decided to wait for another bus going in the direction we were heading. After several minutes of waiting, a large passenger car pulled up at the bus stop. Its driver asked us if we needed transportation, after a moment's consideration we decided that why not, and we agreed on a very favorable price with a ride to the hotel where we had booked earlier our accommodation. As a result, we were able to check in much faster at our hotel La Ninfa, located right on the cliff on the outskirts of Amalfi. At the hotel itself, we were impressed by the view from the windows - eating a delicious breakfast overlooking the sea, however, is incredibly impressive.

Zaraz po tym, jak się zameldowaliśmy i rozpakowaliśmy to ruszyliśmy w dalszą drogę aż do centrum Amalfi. Po drodze mieliśmy okazje podziwiać takie oto krajobrazy.
Immediately after we checked in and we unpacked we went to the center of Amalfi. On the way we had the opportunity to admire this kind of landscapes.
Po około 20 minutach spaceru znaleźliśmy się na samiutkiej plaży położonej w pobliżu centrum miasteczka. Zdecydowaliśmy się spędzić tam trochę czasu na rozmowach, a przy okazji porobiliśmy tam trochę zdjęć. Gdy powolutku zaczęło się ściemniać ruszyliśmy do samego centrum, w poszukiwaniu restauracji, w której moglibyśmy zjeść jakąś pyszną kolację.
After about 20 minutes of walking, we have found on the beach located near the center of the town. We decided to spend some time talking there, and by the way we took some photos there. When it slowly started to get dark we headed to the center itself, in search of a restaurant where we could have some delicious dinner.
Skręciliśmy w jedną z uliczek od strony plaży, po czym wyszliśmy na plac gdzie naszym oczom ukazał się piękny plac z fontanną, licznymi knajpkami a także piękną zbudowaną w IX wieku katedrą Św. Andrzeja. W jej wnętrzu, w krypcie, znajdują się przywiezione w roku 1208 szczątki Święto Andrzeja. Wnętrze świątynie jest bogato udekorowane przez liczne freski, rzeźby, obrazy i mozaiki.
We turned into one of the streets on the side of the beach, then came out to the square where we saw a beautiful square with a fountain, numerous restaurants and also the beautiful St. Andrew's Cathedral, built in the 9th century. Inside it, in its crypt, are the remains of St. Andrew, brought there in 1208. The interior of the temple is richly decorated with numerous frescoes, sculptures, paintings and mosaics.
Zanim wybraliśmy się na kolację do jednej z restauracji znajdujących się na placu przed katedrą ( gdzie jedliśmy jedną z najlepszych pizz w życiu) - zdecydowaliśmy się na krótki spacer po uliczkach centrum Amalfi. Po drodze trafiliśmy na dwie szopki bożonarodzeniowe: jedną zanurzoną w fontannie Cape e Ciucci na Piazza della Spirito, druga natomiast zdobiła jeden z frontów bloków mieszkalnych.
Before we were going to dinner at one of the restaurants located in the square in front of the cathedral ( where we had one of the best pizzas ever) - we decided to take a short walk through the streets of downtown Amalfi. Along the way we came across two Christmas nativity scenes: one placed inside the Cape e Ciucci fountain in Piazza della Spirito, while the other one was located in the fronts of apartment blocks.

Następnego dnia, po wymeldowaniu się z hotelu, znowu zrobiliśmy spacer do centrum Amalfi, gdzie czekaliśmy na autobus jadący w kierunku kolejnej miejscowości i przystanku na trasie naszej wycieczki, czyli położonego w górach niewielkiego miasteczka Ravello, o którym opowiem Wam nieco więcej w kolejnym wpisie o naszej wyprawie po Kampanii.
The next day, after checking out of the hotel, we again made the walk to the center of Amalfi, where we waited for the bus heading to the next town and stop on our travel tour, the small town of Ravello located in the mountains, which I will tell you a little bit more about in the next post about our Campania trip.
