Książki są bardzo ważną częścią mojego życia. Pierwsze z nich w postaci różnych bajek, baśni oraz opowiadań czytali mi moi rodzice i tym samym zarazili mnie miłością do nich. Gdy podrosłam uwielbiałam czytać historie dziewczynek w moim wieku takich jak Karolcia z powieści Marii Kruger, Ania z Zielonego Wzgórza ze słynnej serii książek napisanych przez Lucy Montgomery czy też Kasia - postać stworzona przez Mirę Jaworczakową.
A jak zaczęła się Wasza książkowa przygoda? Które z książek z dzieciństwa utkwiły Wam najbardziej w pamięci?

Books are a very important part of my life. The first of them in the form of various fairy tales, and fairy stories my parents read to me and in this way infected me a love for them. When I grew up, I loved reading stories of girls at my age, such as Karolcia from the novel by Maria Kruger, Ania from the Green Hill from the famous series of books written by Lucy Montgomery or Kasia - a character created by Mira Jaworczakowa.

1/2/3 ANDRZEJ SAPKOWSKI : " CHRZEST OGNIA" , "WIEŻA JASKÓŁKI", "PANI JEZIORA"8/10
Trzy pierwsze pozycje to trzy ostatnie tomy słynnej sagii o Wiedźminie z Rivii. Nie jestem fanką fantastyki oraz fantasy, ale ten cykl książek totalnie mnie pochłonął i oczarował swoim światem. Jest w nim sporo nawiązań do legend, baśni oraz bajek, które tak doskonale pamiętam z dzieciństwa.
Osobiście bardzo polecam.
The first three items are the last three volumes of the famous books cycle about The Witcher of Rivia. I'm not a fan of fantasy and fantasy, but this series of those books totally absorbed me and enchanted me with its world. There are a lot of references to legends and fairy tales that I remember so well from my childhood.
Personally, I highly recommend it.
4. PIOT KOŚCIELNY "ZWIERZ" 10/10
„Właściwie zabijałem, odkąd pamiętam. Zaczynałem od zabijania zwierząt. Pierwszą ofiarą był kot sąsiadów." To początek powieści Piotra Kościelnego "Zwierz". Żałuję, że sięgnęłam po tę pozycję tak późno. Dla mnie ta powieść to po prostu miazga. Od początku doskonale wiemy kto jest sprawcą morderstw, lecz pomimo to z zapartym tchem dajemy się pochłonąć historii. Chyba pierwszy raz w życiu miałam ochotę "zastopować" mordercę jeśli chodzi o kwestię ofiar, co w moim przypadku jest raczej nietypowe, gdyż zawsze bardzo lubiłam w takich ksiązkach jak trup ścielił się gęsto. Z niecierpliwością wyczekuję kolejnego tomu z serii. Mam nadzieję,że autor sobie poradzi , gdyz poprzeczkę zawiesił barzdo wysoko.

"I regret that I reached for this position so late. For me, this novel is simply a big wow. From the beginning we know perfectly well who is the killer, but with bated breath we let ourselves be absorbed by this history. I think for the first time in my life I wanted to "stop" the murderer when it comes to the issue of victims, which in my case is rather unusual, because I always liked books with a lot of bodies on the ground. I look forward to the next volume from this series and I hope that the author will manage, because the bar has been set very high by him.
5. LESLEY KARA " PLOTKA"/"THE RUMOUR" 5/10
Joanna wraz z synkiem Alfiem przeprowadza się z Londynu do spokojnego miasteczka Flinstead.Podczas rozmowy z innymi matkami dowiaduje się ona,że w miasteczku mieszka pod zmienionym nazwiskiem morderczyni, która jako nieletnia wbiła małemu chłopcu nóż w serce. Informacja ta nie daje jej spokoju, dlatego powoli zaczyna powtarzać ją dalej. Stopniowo plotka rozprzestrzenia się wśrod mieszkańców, a sama Joanna otrzymuje niepokojącą informację "plotki potrafią zabić". Książka oparta na prawdziwej historii nastoletniej morderczyni Mary Bell, mimo ciekawego pomysłu niestety nie zrobiła na mnie większego wrażenia.
Joanna and her son Alfie move from London to the quiet town of Flinstead. During a conversation with other mothers, she finds out that she lives in the town where under the changed name of a also lives a murderer, who as a teenage girl stabbed a little boy in the heart. This information does not give her peace, and therefore she slowly begins to repeat it further. Gradually, the rumor spreads among the inhabitants, and Joanna has received disturbing message "rumors can kill". The book is based on the true story of the teenage killer Mary Bell, despite the interesting idea, unfortunately, did not impress me so much.
6. MARCEL MOSS ''NIE ODPISUJ" 7/10
Martyna prowadzi profil społecznościowy, na którym publikuje anonimowo wiadomości od innych ludzi. To ich problemy są "lekarstwem" na jej trwającą od dłuższego czasu depresję oraz niedawno zakończony związek z Damianem, z którego utrata nie potrafi się pogodzić. Pewnego dnia odczytuje niezwykle osobistą wiadomość od niejakiego Michała, który zwierza się się jej, z tego iż jest ofiarą przemocy domowej swojej żony Agaty.
Interesująca kosntrukcja oraz fabuła, a także nietuzinkowe, mocne ( nie chcę zdradzić więcej) postacie kobiece sprawiają,że książkę czyta się jednym tchem. Pozycja idealna dla fanów thrillerów psychologicznych.
Martyna runs a social profile on which she publishes anonymous messages from other people. Their problems are the "medicine" for her long-standing depression and the recently terminated relationship with Damian, whose loss cannot be reconciled. One day she reads an extremely personal message from a man named Michał, who confides her, that he is a victim of domestic violence from site of his wife Agata.
Interesting plot and story, and also unusual, strong (I don't want to reveal any more) female characters make the book read in one breath. Perfect for fans of psychological thrillers.
7. MARNI MANN "GDY ZAPADA CISZA"/ "WHEN ASHES FALL" 7/10
Ta książka to w moim zestawieniu styczniowym jedyna pozycja z gatunku obyczaj/dramat.
Ta powieść to historia pracującej na co dzień w centrum powiadomień ratowniczych Alix oraz dwóch pojawiających się w jej życiu mężczyzn - żywiołowego Dylana oraz spokojnego Smitha, którzy są dla niej jednakowo ważni. Jeśli chcecie poznać prawdziwą stronę tej niezwykle wzruszającej historii to zachęcam do jej przeczytania.
Dla mnie jedynym minusem było to, że domyśliłam się bardzo szybko jej finału, lecz pomimo to książkę czytało mi sie naprawdę dobrze.
This book is in my January list the only one item from the genre of drama.
This novel is the story of Alix, who works in the center of rescue notifications, and two men appearing in her life - the expressive Dylan and calm Smith, who are equally important to her. If you want to know the real site of this extremely touching story, I encourage you to read the book.
For me, the only cons was that I guessed its finale very quickly, but despite that, I think it was a good book with moving story.
