Sa takie miejsca, o których marzymy będąc dziećmi. I co ciekawsze, nie przestajemy o nich marzyć będąc dorosłymi, ponieważ gdzieś tam w głębi każdego z nas mieszka dziecko, którym kiedyś byliśmy. Jednym z takich miejsc, zarówno dla mnie jak i mojego Kuby był Legoland. Oboje w dzieciństwie bardzo lubiliśmy układać klocki Lego, które dostawaliśmy czasami jako prezenty. Do dziś pamiętam wszystkie domki, restauracje czy samochodziki, które wtedy budowałam wraz z moją siostrą. Zatem, gdy tylko pojawiła się okazja, aby ten pomysł zrealizować, namówiłam Kubę i dzięki temu na początku września, korzystając z usług biura turystycznego Oskar, wybraliśmy się razem do duńskiego Legolandu w miejscowości Billund.

Do Billund dojechaliśmy jeszcze przed otwarciem, dzięki czemu udało nam się zrobić zdjęcia przed bramą niemalże bez ludzi. W samym Legolandzie natomiast spędziliśmy cały dzień korzystając z najróżniejszych atrakcji znajdujących się na jego terenie. Zwiedzanie rozpoczęliśmy od tzw. Minilandu, który jest jedną z najpopularniejszych atrakcji tego parku rozrywki. Następnie odwiedziliśmy The Great Lego Reef, kino 4D, Ninja Lego a także pozostałe części tematyczne takie jak między innymi dziki zachód, atrakcje wodne, nawiedzony dom, zamek czy rollercoastery, które dostarczyły nam obojgu naprawdę sporo emocji. 

Na terenie Legolandu znajdują się ponadto restauracje, sklep, a nawet hotel, w którym można przenocować, gdy chcemy nasz czas pobytu w tym niezwykłym miejscu nieco przedłużyć. W ciągu dnia bowiem, jest naprawdę trudno skorzystać z wszystkich atrakcji, które ten park rozrywki nam oferuje. Z wycieczki, pomimo zmęczenia związanego przede wszystkim z dwoma nocami spędzonymi w autobusie, wróciliśmy do Polski przede wszystkim bardzo zadowoleni. Legoland jest zdecydowanie tym miejscem, w którym zarówno najmłodsi, jak i najstarsi znajdą coś zdecydowanie dla siebie, dlatego też, gdy tylko będziecie mieli okazję tam pojechać, serdecznie Wam to polecam.

There are places that we dream about when we are children. And what's more interesting, we don't stop dreaming about them being adults, because somewhere deep inside each of us lives the child we once were. One such place for both me and my Kuba was Legoland. Both of us as children were very fond of putting together Legos, which we sometimes received as gifts. To this day, I still remember all the houses, restaurants or cars that me and my sister built back then. So, as soon as the opportunity arose to put this idea into practice, I persuaded Kuba, and as a result, in early September, using the services of the Oskar travel agency, we went together to the Danish Legoland in Billund.

We arrived in Billund even before it opened, so we were able to take photos in front of the gate with almost no people. In Legoland itself, on the other hand, we spent the whole day enjoying the various attractions on its area. We started our tour with the so-called Miniland, which is one of the most popular attractions of this theme park. Then we visited The Great Lego Reef, 4D cinema, Ninja Lego and other themed sections such as the wild west, water attractions, haunted house, castle and rollercoasters, among others, which provided us both with a lot of excitement. 

In addition, there are restaurants, a store and even a hotel on the Legoland area, where we can stay overnight if we want to extend our time in this remarkable place a bit. For during the day, it is really difficult to take advantage of all the attractions that this amusement park offers us. From the trip, despite the tiredness associated primarily with the two nights spent on the bus, we returned to Poland primarily very satisfied. Legoland is definitely the place where both the youngest and the oldest will definitely find something for themselves, so whenever you have the opportunity to go there, I heartily recommend it to you.

Turystyka kontrowersyjna/Controversial tourism - Le Lignon

Wiem, że trochę mnie tutaj z Wami nie było, ale wracam po blogowej wakacyjnej przerwie. Dzisiaj zachęcam do przeczytania postu z jednej z Waszych ulubionych serii o turystyce kontrowersyjnej. Za kilka dni natomiast pojawi się post z miejsca, w którym byłam w ostatni weekend :-)

Tymczasem zabieram Was do Szwajcarii, a konkretniej do Genewy, gdzie znajdują się blokowiska Le Lignon. Zaliczane są one do najwiekszych budynków zarówno w Europie, jak i na świecie. Kompleks zaprojektowany przez George'a Addora powstał w latach 60-tych, pomiędzy  rokiem 1964  a 1966.  Mierzy 1060 metrów długości a w jego wnętrzu znajduje się 2780 mieszkań. Całość ulokowana jest we wsi Vernier ( należącej do kantonu Genewy). Osiedle składa się z trzech bloków- jednego mniejszego i dwóch 30-piętrowych. Mieszka w nim ponad 6500 osób, co stanowi około 20% ludności całej gminy. Jest jak małe samowystarczalne miasteczko - na jego terenie znajdują się szkoły, sklepy, kościół katolicki, kościół ewangelicki, dentysta, szewc, rzeźnik, przedszkola, poczta, przychodnia lekarska, apteka, boisko sportowe, biblioteka gier, parking, a na jednym z pięter jednego z budynków nawet centrum handlowe. Na dachu jednego z bloków zbudowano także baseny pływackie dla mieszkańców. W pobliżu umieszczony jest także ładny, dość duży park.

 Jeden ze stałych mieszkańców Le Lignon pytany o trudności typowe dla takich miejsc wspomina, że problem z narkotykami jest tutaj podobny jak w innych częściach Genewy. Zdarzają się tutaj drobne przestępstwa, ale z podobnymi  borykają się też inne dzielnice szwajcarskich miast. Niekiedy w mieszkaniach słychać hałas ponieważ młodzi ludzie często urządzają sobie na zewnątrz imprezy. Le Niskie ceny sprawiły, że część migrantów wynajmuje mieszkania. Le Lignon zamieszkują zatem ludzie wielu narodowości, co utrudnia im niekiedy komunikację społeczną.Teren blokowisk jest dość czysty, a część mieszkań może ze swoich okien podziwiać przepiękny widok na szwajcarskie góry. Na osiedlach Le Lignon znajduje się też kilka interesujących murali. 

Szwajcaria nie kojarzy się z wielkimi budynkami oraz blokowiskami, ale także i tutaj możemy je znaleźć.  Są one jednak z pewnością w całkiem dobrym stanie a życie w nich na co dzień może być całkiem przyjemne.

I know I've been away from you here for a while, but I'm back after a blogging holiday break. Today I encourage you to read a post from one of your favorite series on controversial tourism. In a few days, on the other hand, there will be a post from somewhere I was last weekend :-)

Meanwhile, I'm taking you to Switzerland, and more specifically to Geneva, where the Le Lignon apartment blocks are located. They are counted among the largest buildings in both Europe and the world. The complex, designed by George Addor, was built in the 1960s, between 1964 and 1966. It measures 1060 meters in length and houses 2780 apartments. The entire complex is located in the village of Vernier ( which belongs to the canton of Geneva). The estate consists of three blocks-one smaller and two 30-story blocks. It is home to more than 6,500 people, which is about 20% of the population of the entire municipality. It is like a small self-sufficient town - there are schools, stores, a Catholic church, an Evangelical church, a dentist, a shoemaker, a butcher, kindergartens, a post office, a medical clinic, a pharmacy, a sports field, a games library, a parking lot, and even a shopping center on one floor of one of the buildings. A swimming pool for residents has also been built on a roof of one of the blocks. A nice, rather large park is also placed nearby.

When asked about the difficulties typical of such places, one of Le Lignon's permanent residents mentions that the drug problem here is similar to other parts of Geneva. There are minor crimes here, but other neighborhoods in Swiss cities also face similar ones. Sometimes noise can be heard in apartments because young people often have parties outside. Le Lignon's low prices have led some migrants to rent apartments. Le Lignon is therefore inhabited by people of many nationalities, which sometimes makes it difficult for them to communicate socially.The area of the apartment blocks is quite clean, and some apartments can enjoy a beautiful view of the Swiss mountains from their windows. There are also several interesting murals in the Le Lignon housing estates.

Switzerland is not associated with large buildings and apartment blocks, but we can also find them here. However, they are certainly in quite good condition and living in them on a daily basis can be quite pleasant.
