W listopadzie udało mi się zrealizować mój
kolejny podróżniczy plan, czyli polecieć na Sardynię i złapać jeszcze przed
zimą w Polsce ostatnie ciepłe promienie słońca. Na Sardynii byłam wcześniej
tylko raz, w okolicach Cagliari, dlatego bardzo cieszyłą mnie perspektywa
zobaczenia wyspy od drugiej strony. Sardynia słynie bowiem z
najpiękniejszych włoskich plaż, pysznego lokalnego jedzenia oraz gościnności
mieszkańców.
Do Alghero wylecieliśmy z Katowic i to bardzo wcześnie rano ( po godzinie 6:00 ); zatem sporą część nocy spędziliśmy na trasie Poznań- Katowice. Zaskoczyła mnie szczerze liczba ludzi, która postanowiła podobnie jak my zwiedzić Sardynię poza sezonem. Na miejscu przywitało nas słońce i niemalże wiosenna pogoda :-) Do samego Alghero udaliśmy się z lotniska autobusem ( bilety warto kupić w automacie na lotnisku - koszt około 1 Euro).

In
November, I managed to implement my next travel plan, it means to fly to
Sardinia and catch the last warm rays of the sun before winter in Poland will come.
I have been in Sardinia only once before, near Cagliari, so I was very happy to
see the island from the other side. Sardinia is famous for the most beautiful
Italian beaches, delicious local food and hospitality of the inhabitants.
We
had a departure to Alghero from Katowice, early in the morning (after 6:00); so
we spent a large part of the night on the Poznań-Katowice route. I was honestly
surprised by the number of people who, like us, decided to visit Sardinia in
the off-season. We were greeted by the sun and almost spring weather :-) We
went from the airport to Alghero by bus (tickets are worth buying from the
machine at the airport - cost about 1 Euro).

Alghero to malutkie miasteczko otoczone od
strony morza dawnym murem obronnym, którego spore pozostałości można podziwiać
do dzisiejszego dnia. Chronią one przede wszystkim niezwykle urokliwą starą
część miasta, w której znajduje się wiele licznych restauracji oraz malutkich i
urokliwych sklepików oferujących zarówno pamiątki jak i lokalne produkty.
Alghero nie bez powodu określane jest mianem
"małej Barcelony" - gdyż oprócz sardyńskiego oraz włoskiego
nizewykle popularny jest tutaj język hiszpański. Część przodków obecnych
mieszkańców przybyła tutaj bowiem w około XIV wieku z okolic Katalonii.
Jeśli chodzi o samo miasteczko to do jego
głównych atrakcji należy zaliczyć starą część miasta, piękną promenadę pośród
palm położoną zaraz przy brzegu morza, stare obronne mury, z których można
podziwiać wshody i zachody słońca oraz katedrę. My mieszkaliśmy w samym
sercu starego miasta w przeuroczym apartamencie, który wynajmowaliśmy od
rodowitych mieszkańców Sardynii.
Alghero była zarówno naszą bazą noclegową jak
i bazą wypadową, dzięki czemu mogliśmy zwiedzić mieszczące się w okolicy

Alghero
is a tiny town surrounded by an ancient defensive wall from the sea, large
remains of which can be admired to this day. They protect, above all, the very
charming old part of the city, where there are many numerous restaurants and
tiny and charming shops offering both souvenirs and local products.
Alghero
is called "little Barcelona" for a reason - because apart from
Sardinian and Italian, Spanish is also popular here. Some of the ancestors of
the present inhabitants came here in around the 14th century from the vicinity
of Catalonia.
If
we are talking about a town itself, its main attractions include the old part
of the city, a beautiful promenade surrounded by palm trees right next to the
sea, old defensive walls from which you can admire sunrise and sunset, and the
cathedral. We lived in the heart of the old town in a charming apartment, which
we rented from native Sardinians.
Alghero
was for us our accommodation and base, so we could visit the nearby towns. I
