Dzisiaj zabieram Was w dalszą wyprawę po Paryżu. Paryż jest tak duży,że nie sposób przy pierwszej wizycie zwiedzić całego miasta. Przynajmniej daje to doskonały pretekst, aby tu powrócić. Zwiedzanie w kolejnych dniach rozpoczęliśmy od słynnego paryskiego cmentarza Pere Lachaise, na którym zostali pochowani między innym Fryderyk Chopin, Jim Morrison, Honoriusz Balzac, Georgous Bizet, Isadora Duncan,Edith Piaf czy Marcel Proust. Cmentarz jest całkiem spory i mimo mapy oraz legendy nie zawsze łatwo jest znaleźć groby osób, które planowaliśmy zobaczyć.
Today I am taking you on a further journey through Paris. Paris is quite big that it is impossible to see the entire city on your first visit. At least it gives a perfect excuse to come back here. We started our tour in the following days from the famous Pere Lachaise cemetery , where, among others, Fryderyk Chopin, Jim Morrison, Honorius Balzac, Georgous Bizet, Isadora Duncan, Edith Piaf and Marcel Proust were buried. The cemetery is quite large and despite the map and the legend, it is not always easy to find the graves of the people we planned to see.
Udało nam się także zobaczyć dzielnice La Defense ( pisałam o niej wcześniej), Organy Flandrii ( o niej też ;-) ). Zwiedziliśmy przepiękną położoną na wzgórzu Bazylikę Sacre Cour. Trzeba się troszkę powspinać po schodach, aby do niej dotrzeć, ale zdecydowanie warto nie tylko po to, aby zobaczyć jej wnętzre, ale także po to aby podziwiać przepiękną panoramę Paryża. Miejsce to zdecydowanie robi wrażenie.
We also managed to see the districts of La Defense (I wrote about it earlier), the Organ of Flanders (about it too ;-)). We visited the beautiful Sacre Cour Basilica located on the hill. You have to climb a little stairs to get there but it's definitely worth not only to see its interior, but also to admire the beautiful panorama of Paris. This place is definitely impressive.
Staraliśmy się w ramach naszych możliwości zwiedzać Paryż na piechotę , aby jak najwięcej zobaczyć. Dzięki temu zwiedziliśmy niemalże całą XIII dzielnicę miasta, w której mieści się słynne Moulin Rouge. Dzielnica ta przypominała mi trochę holenderską dzielnicę czerwonych latarni w Amsterdamie.
We tried, within our possibilities, to visit Paris on foot to see as much as possible. Thanks to this, we visited almost the entire 13th district of the city, which includes the famous Moulin Rouge. This district reminded me a bit of the Dutch red light district in Amsterdam.
Ponadto udało nam się zobaczyć paryski Panteon, najstarszy francuski uniwersytet Sorbona, Galerię Lafayette (tutaj także można załapać się na piękną panaromę Paryża), remontowana katedrę Notre Damme, Plac de la Concorde,niezwykłe ,modernistyczne centrum Pompidou i kilka innych miejsc. Zdecydowaliśmy się także na rejs po Sekwanie( który zresztą bardzo polecam) . Dzięki temu mieliśmy szansę zobaczyć Paryż w pigułce z nieco innej perspektywy :-)
In addition, we were able to see the Paris Pantheon, the oldest French university of the Sorbonne, the Lafayette Gallery (here you can also catch a beautiful view of Paris), the renovated Notre Damme cathedral, Place de la Concorde, the unusual, modernist Pompidou center and several other places. We also decided to take a cruise on the Seine (which I highly recommend). Thanks to this, we had a chance to see Paris at a glance from a slightly different perspective :-)
