Ostatnio  znowu było mnie tutaj na blogu nieco mniej, ale sporo się u mnie ostatnio działo (praca, próby do spektaklu, troszkę wyjazdów) ale powolutku do Was wracam. Dzisiaj zabiorę Was raz jeszcze do Rzymu, a konkretniej do dzielnicy Pigneto i Ostiense, w których zdecydowanie króluje warta obejrzenia sztuka uliczna.

Recently, I wasn't  here so often here on the blog , but a lot of things has happened in my life lately (work, rehearsals for the play, a bit of trips) but slowly coming back to you. Today I will take you once again to Rome, more specifically to the Pigneto and Ostiense districts, where street art definitely reigns.

 

Zarówno Pigneto i Ostiense znajdują się poza standartowym szlakiem turystycznym. Jednak miłośnicy street artu, murali ( jak ja) zdecydowanie powinni się tam wybrać. Po uliczkach obu z dzielnic warto pobłądzić i odkryć różne street artowe perełki, których jest tutaj naprawdę sporo. 

 Both Pigneto and Ostiense are off the standard tourist trail. However, lovers of street art and murals (like me) should definitely go there. It is worth getting lost in the streets of both districts and discovering various street art gems, of which there is in thia area quite a lot.

Poniżej zapraszam Was na małe artystyczne zwiedzanie Rzymu, a swoją drogą ciekawa jestem jaki stosunek macie do murali, graffiti  oraz  generalnie rozumianej sztuki ulicznej.

Dzisiaj w ramach postów turystycznych chciałabym Was zabrać do nowoczesnej dzielnicy Paryża - La Defense. Jej nazwa pochodzi od mieszczącego sie w Paryżu pomnika La Defense de Paris. To własnie tutaj swoje siedziby mają największe światowe koncerny. La Defense to przede wszystkim dzielnica biznesowo-biurowa, ale ponadto pełni ona funkcje centrum handlowego, rozrywkowego oraz transportowego. Znajduje się tuatj także kompleks ekskluzywnych apartamentów oraz hoteli.

Today, as part of tourist posts, I would like to take you to the modern district of Paris - La Defense. Its name comes from the La Defense de Paris monument located in Paris. It is here that the world's largest concerns have their headquarters. La Defense is primarily a business and office district, but also is a shopping, entertainment and transport center. There is also a complex of exclusive apartments and hotels here.

Na jej zachodnim krańcu znajduje się  wykonany z białego marmuru, mierzącu 110 metrów wysokości tzw. Wielki Łuk  ( La Grande Arche de La Defense). Został on oddany do użytku w roku 1989. W jego wnętrzach znajdują się biura francuskiegi Ministerstwa Ekologii, Zrównoważonego Rozwoju i Energii. Do roku 2010 był możliwość wjazdu na szczyt tej budowli, gdzie mieścił sie taras panoramiczny. W kwietniu 2010 doszło do awarii jednej z wind i wówczas zdecydowano o jego zamknięciu dla zwiedzających.

At its western end there is a 110-meter-high white marble Great Arch (La Grande Arche de La Defense). It was commissioned in 1989. Inside of them are located the offices of the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy. Until 2010, it was possible to enter the top of this building, where there was a panoramic terrace. In April 2010, one of the elevators broke down and it was the reason why after this accident decided to close it for visitors.

W podziemiach dzielnicy znajduje się duże centrum handlowo-rozrywkowe, stacja metra oraz dworce autobusowy i kolejowy. Dzielnica jest niemal całkowicie wyłaczona z ruchu kołowego.

In the basement of the district there is a large shopping and entertainment center, metro station, bus and train stations. The district is almost completely pedestrianized.

W krajobrazie dzielnicy dominują przede wszystkim szklane, wysokie budynki stąd też często jest ona nazywana Paryskim Manhatanem. Na jej terenie umieszczono ponad 20 fontann, 80 rzeźb, 50 kawiarni. Fani kina mają do dyspozychji na jej terenie 16 sal kinowych. Pracuje tutaj łacznie ponad 150 tysięcy osób.

The landscape of the district is dominated by glass, tall buildings and cause of this it is often called the Parisian Manhattan. There are over 20 fountains, 80 sculptures and 50 cafes on its premises. Cinema fans have 16 screens at their disposal. A total of over 150,000 people work here.

Futurystyczne La Defense robi moim zdaniem niesamowite wrażenie. Zachwyca różnorodnością nowoczesnej architektury oraz rzeźby, dlatego zdecydowanie warto podczas wyjazdu do Paryża do niej zajrzeć i zrobić krótki spacer od jednej do drugiej stacji metra.

Futuristic La Defense makes an amazing impression in my opinion. It delights with the diversity of modern architecture and sculptures, so it is definitely worth visiting it during your trip to Paris and taking a short walk from one metro station to the other.
