Kolejny miesiąc za nami, zatem czas na kolejną porcję przeczytanych książek, większość z nich to zdecydowanie thrillery. Być może wśród nich odnajdziecie jakąś interesującą pozycję, po którą sami z przyjemnością sięgnięcie, a być może mieliście już okazję przeczytać, którąś z nich. Wówczas podzielcie się ze mną opinią na ich temat.


Another month behind ours back, so it's time for another portion of books that I read, most of them are definitely thrillers. Maybe among them you will find an interesting position, that you will read with pleasure , and perhaps you have already had the opportunity to read at least one of them. Then share your opinion about them with me.

1. ANNA TODD "BEFORE"

Książka będąca dopełnieniem serii " After". Zdecydowanie najsłabsza pozycja całości pokazująca w wielkim skrócie historię z pierwszej części  widziną z perspektywy Hardina. Zdecydowanie można ją sobie odpuścić.

A book that  is complement of  the series "After". Definitely the weakest position of the whole, showing in a nutshell the story from the first part telling from Hardin's perspective. You can definitely let it go.

 

2. D.B THORNE "OBSERWATOR" / "TROLL"

Młoda kobieta Sophie Fortune znika w tajemniczych okolicznościach. Jej zapracowany ojciec nie wierzy w jej samobójstwo, dlatego postanawia ją odnaleźć. W ten sposób zostaje  on pionkiem w grze wyjątkowo inteligentnego porywacza, który prowadzi z obojgiem z nich swój własny, specyficzny rodzaj gry.


The young woman Sophie Fortune disappears under mysterious circumstances. Her overworked father does not believe in her suicide, so he decides to find her. In this way, he becomes a pawn in the game of an extremely intelligent kidnapper who leads with both of them his own specific type of game.

3. S.J WATSON "DRUGIE ŻYCIE"

Życie Julii Plummer wydaje się być ułożone oraz spokojne do czasu, we którym otrzymuje wiadomość o śmierci swojej siostry, która jest biologiczną matką wychowywanego przez nią syna Connora. Gdy policyjne śledzwo utyka w martwym punkcie - Julia decyduje się na własną rękę odszukać zabójcę siostry. W ten sposób trafia do świata damsko-męskich portali internetowych, gdzie poznaje pewnego mężczyznę, który sprawia, że zaczyna tracić kontrole nad swoim życiem.

The life of Julia Plummer seems to be arranged and calm until she receives the news of her sister's death, the biological mother of her son, Connor, who is raised by her. When the police investigation gets stuck in one point - Julia decides to look for her sister's killer on her own. In this way she goes to the world of men's and women's internet portals, where she meets a man who makes her lose control over her own life.

4. Collen Hoover " Coraz większy mork" / "Verity

Pisarka Lowen Asleigh zostaje zatrudniona przez męża Verity Crawford do dokończenia słynnej serii kryminałów. Aby zapoznać się z zapiskami pisarki decyduje się ona zamieszkać w domu rodziny Crawford. W trakcie przegladania rzeczy pani domu natrafia w gabinecie na egzemplarz jej bardzo niepokojacej autobiografii. Kim jest autorka kryminałów oraz jakie inne niepokojace tajemnice nękają rodzinę Crawfordu dowiecie się z lektury tej książki. Bardzo polecam.

A writer Lowen Asleigh is hired by Verity Crawford's husband to complete the famous series of detective stories. To read the writer's notes she decides to live in the home of the Crawford family. When she browse Verity's things, she  finds a copy of her very disturbing autobiography in her office. Who is the author of detective stories and what other mysterious secrets are plagued by the Crawford family you will learn from reading this book. I highly recommend.

Ten miesiąc pomimo sporej liczby obowiązków pod względem liczby przeczytanych książek zaliczam do naprawdę udanych. Tym razem oprócz moich ukochanych kryminałów pojawiły się także inne gatunkowo pozycje książkowe. Mam nadzieję,że wśród nich każdy z Was znajdzie coś dla siebie.

This month, despite the large number of duties in terms of the number of books that I read, I count to really successful. This time, apart from my beloved crime novels, there were also other books genres. I hope that among them each of you will find something for yourself.

1. Karen Hamilton " Jego doskonała dziewczyna"

Główna bohaterka Juliette /Lilly bardzo kocha swojego chłopaka. Zrobi wszystko, aby go odzyskać. Dlatego tez zostaje stewardesa , aby pracować w liniach , w których on jest pilotem. Psychologiczny thriller o szaleństwie oraz obsesji.

The main character Juliette / Lilly loves her boyfriend very much. She will do anything to get him back. This is the reason why she became the stewardess cause she wants to work in the lines in which he is a pilot. A psychological thriller about madness and obsession.

 

2. Chris Carter " Galeria umarłych"/ Gallery of the dead

Dziewiąty tom serii z detektywem Robertem Huntingiem  oraz jego partnerem Garcią w roli głównej. Tym razem dwójka detektywów z jednostki specjalnej tropi z pomocą FBI nietuzinkowego seryjnego zabójcę określanego mianem Kolekcjonera. Chris Carter należy zdecydowanie do czołówki moich ulubionych pisarzy tego gatunku, dlatego książkę serdecznie polecam.

The ninth volume of the series with detective Robert Hunting and his partner Garcia in the lead role. This time, two detectives from the special police unit  together with the help of the FBI are tracking the remarkable serial killer known as the Collector . Chris Carter is definitely one of my favorite writers of this genre, why I highly  recommend this book.

 

3.  T.A Cotterell "Strażniczka kłamstwa"/ "What Alice Knew"

Alice ma spokojne, idealne życie aż do dnia w którym jej mąż wraca totalnie pijany z imprezy, z której niewiele pamięta. Po kilku dniach kobieta, którą widziano u boku jej męża zostaje znaleziona martwa w swoim domu. . Alice postanawia zrobić wszystko, aby odsunąć od swojego małżonka wszelkie podejrzenia. 

Alice has a calm, perfect life until the day when her husband returns totally drunk from the party, from which he remembers only some pieces. After a few days the woman who was seen around her husband is found dead in her house.  Alice decides to do everything to remove any suspicion from her spouse.

 

4. Anna Todd. After. Płomień pod moją skórą / "After"

Książkę zaczęłam czyatć po obejrzeniu filmu. Z jednej strony niesamowicie wciąga za sprawa swojej fabuły, z drugiej natomiast jest nieco naiwna  w swojej treści. Ta książka to historia bardzo burzliwej relacji między dwojgiem młodych ludzi - Tessą a Hardinem. Pochodzą z dwóch róznych światów. On wykolczykowany oraz wytatuowany zły chłopiec, ona natomiast jest spokojną, pochłonięta książkami dobrą dziewczyną. Wbrew logice zakochują się w sobie. Jednak ich relacja zdecydowanie nie należy do najłatwiejszych. Plus za zakończenie, które sprawia,n że szybko chwytasz po kolejny tom.

I started reading the book after watching the movie. On the one hand, it is incredibly captivating cause of its  plot, on the other hand, it is slightly naive in its content. This book is the story of a very stormy relationship between two young people - Tessa and Hardin. They come from two different worlds. He is an angry and tattooed bad boy, while she is a calm, well-absorbed girl loving books. Contrary to logic, they fall in love with each other. However, their relationship definitely is not the easiest one. Plus for the ending, which makes taht you quickly grab the next volume.

 

5. B A Paris  " Na skraju załamania/ " The break down"

Cass Anderson wracając do domu korzysta z drogi na skróty wiodącej przez las. Po drodze natyka się na samochód z nieznajomą kobietą. Mimo wszystko postanawia się nie zatrzymywać i jechac dalej. Okazuje się, że kobieta zostaje zamordowana, a Cass po tym wydarzeniu zaczynają prześladować głuche telefony. Bardzo dobry, trzymający w napięciu thriller psychologiczny.

Cass Anderson, returning home, takes a shortcut through the forest. Along the way, she meet a car with a stranger woman inside. Despite everything, she decides not to stop and keep going. It turns out that the woman is murdered, and after this event Cass has started to be haunted by deaf phones. A very good, thrilling psychological thriller.

 

6. Anna Todd. After. Już nie wiem kim bez Ciebie jestem/ Afte,we collided

Druga część książki o skomplikowanej relacji pomiędzy Tessą a Hardinem. Pewne sekrety ujrzały światło dzienne co dodatkowo komplikuje trudną już relację pomiędzy głównymi bohaterami.Tym razem do narracji oprócz Tessy dołącza też Hardin co daje obraz tej relacji z dwóch stron.
Mimo, iż napisana bardzo prostym językiem to jednak swoją fabułą sprawia, że człowiek ma ochotę czytać dalej i dalej.

The second part of the book from series After about the complicated relationship between Tessa and Hardin. Some secrets come out on the surface, which it more complicates the difficult relationship between the main characters. This time, besides Tessa also Hardin is the storyteller, which gives a day picture of this relationship from both sides.
Despite the fact that it is written in a very simple language, its plot that makes people want to read further and further.

 

7. Anna Todd. After, Ocal mnie/ After, faldet

Trzecia część serii to kolejne tajemnice, z którymi musi zmierzyć się para głównych bohaterów. To chyba najgrubsza część serii ( prawie 900 stron) a mimo to czyta się ją błyskawicznie. Do tego niezwykle interesujące zakończenie stanowiące bazę do rozpoczęcia kolejnego tomu.

The third part of the series it's full of another secrets that must be faced by a pair of main characters. This is probably the thickest part of the series (almost 900 pages) and even though I read them  instantly. Plus for extremely interesting ending that is the great base of another volume.

 

8. Anna Todd. After bez siebie nie przetrwamy. After ever happy.

Czwarta a zarazem ostatnia część z serii After opowiadająca historię burzliwej relacji między Tessą a Hardinem. I jak poprzednie części pełna skrajnych emocji.

The fourth and last part of the series After tells the story of the stormy relationship between Tessa and Hardin. And like the previous parts full of extreme emotions.
