Świat, który nas otacza pełen jest pięknych oraz niezwykłych miejsc. To przyroda wykreowała jedne z najpiękniejszych i  najbardziej niezwykłych cudów, które możemy oglądać. Dzisiaj chciałabym zaprezentować Wam pięć  z nich. No to zaczynamy :

The world that surrounds us is full of beautiful and unusual places. The nature created some of the most beautiful and extraordinary wonders that we can admire. Today I would like to present you five of them. So let's begin :

1. KRWAWY WODOSPAD/BLEEDING WATERFALL

Ten niezwykły wodospad znajduje się na Antarktydzie. Jego woda swoją niezwykłą barwę zawdzięcza nasyceniu dużymi ilościami żelaza.Woda pod powierzchnią lodowca nie ma dostępu do tlenu, dlatego też po zetknięciu się z powietrzem na lądzie dochodzi do bardzo intensywnej reakcji chemicznej. Pochodzi ona z ukrytego pod lodowcami jeziora, którego zasolenie jest 4-krotnie większe niż w oceanie.

This amazing waterfall is located in Antarctica. Its water owes its unusual color to saturation with large amounts of iron. Water under the surface of the glacier has no access to oxygen, therefore, after contact with air on land, a very intense chemical reaction occurs. It comes from a lake hidden under the glaciers, the salinity of them is 4 times higher than in the ocean.

2. KOSMICZNA PLAŻA/COSMIC BEACH

Drugi z cudów natury, który chcę Wam zaprezentować znajduje się na wyspie Mandhoo na Malediwach. Ta niezwykła plaża świeci nocą tysiacami maleńkich punkcików przypominających gwiazdy na niebie. Jej sekretem jest bioluminescencja - świecenie się żywych organizmów żywych, w tym przypadku pewnego rodzaju planktonu. 

The second of the wonders of nature that I want to present to you is on the island of Mandhoo in the Maldives. This amazing beach glows with thousands of tiny, star-like points in the sky at night. Its secret is bioluminescence - the glow of living organisms, in this case a kind of plankton.

3. BRAMA PIEKIEŁ/ GATE OF THE HELL

Trzecie z niezwykłych miejscznajduje sie w Turkmenistanie na pustyni Karakum. Niedaleko malutkiej wioski znajduje się dziura o średnicy 70 metrów, z której nieustannie płonie gaz. Miejsce to powstało przypadkiem, kiedy w roku 1971 grupa badaczy przewierciła ziemię w złym miejscu. 

The third of extraordinary is located in Turkmenistan in the Karakum Desert. Near the tiny village there is a hole 70 meters in diameter, from which gas is constantly burning. This place was created by accident, when in the 1971 a group of researchers drilled the ground in the wrong place.

4. LAS COLORADAS - RÓŻOWA LAGUNA /LAS COLORADAS- PINK LAGOON

Ta piękna różowa laguna leży w niewielkiej wsi w Meksyku. Charakteryzuje je niezwykła różowa woda, która swój kolor zawdzięcza czerwonemu planktonowi. Co ciekawsze lagunę od normalnej błekitnej wody oddziela ścieżka piasku  tworząc w ten sposób flagę Meksyku.

This beautiful pink lagoon is located in a small village in Mexico. It is so particular thanks unusual pink water, which owes its color to red plankton. What is more interesting, the lagoon is separated from the normal sea water by a sand path, thus creating the Mexican flag.

5. PARK ZATOPIONY W JEZIORZE - GRUNER SEE/ PARC SINK IN THE LAKE- GRUNER SEE

W Austrii niedaleko miasta Tragoess położone jest zielone jezioro. Jezioro to zmienia sie wraz z porami roku. Latem topniejący z okolicznych gór lód zmienia pobliski teren w podwodny park i stanowi niezwykłą atrakcję dla płetwonurków z całego świata. Zresztą zobaczcie sami.

In Austria, there is a green lake near the town of Tragoess. This lake changes with the seasons of the year. In summer, the melting ice from the surrounding mountains turns the nearby area changing them into underwater park and is a unique attraction for divers from all over the world. Anyway, check yourself .

Ostatnio z powodu pandemii Coronavirusa nie mamy zbyt wielu okazji, aby podróżować w niezwykłe miejsca, dlatego choć na odległość chciałam Wam pokazać kilka z nich. Jestem ciekawa, które spośród nich najbardziej chcielibyście zobaczyć, albo być może już mieliście okazje zobaczyć osobiście.

Recently, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we do not have too many opportunities to travel to unusual places, which is why I would like to show you some of them at a distance. I am curious which of them would you  like to see the most, or perhaps maybe you've already had the opportunity to see it in person.

Jak zapewne wiele z Was kocham podróżować. Ostatnio niestety koronawirus skutecznie anulował moje podróżnicze plany na pierwszą połowę 2020. W marcu miała być Gruzja, w czerwcu Belgia. Na szczęście  jednak w planach do zrealizowania został czerwcowy wyjazd nad polskie morze do Grzybowa. Być może druga połowa roku okaże się łaskawsza i uda mi się zrealizować jakaś dalszą podróż. Czas pokaże, a tymczasem chciałbym Wam przybliżyć nieco inne oblicze podróżowania, o którym wiele z Was wcześniej nigdy nie słyszało tzw. turystykę kontrowersyjną.

Większość z nas podróżuje, aby odpocząć, zobaczyć wymarzone miejsca o których czytali bądź słyszeli, lub też w celu poznania nowych kultur. Jednak jest pewna grupa osób, których cel podróży jest nieco bardziej zaskakujący.

 

As probably many of you I love traveling. Recently, unfortunately, corona virus successfully canceled my travel plans for the first half of 2020. It was supposed to be Georgia in March, and Belgium in June. Fortunately, however, the trip in June to  to Grzybowo located near polish Baltyk sea is planned to be implemented. Perhaps the second half of the year will turn out to be more kind and I will be able to make some further journey. Time will tell, and in the meantime I would like to show you a slightly different face of traveling, which many of you have never heard of the so-called controversial tourism.

Most of us travel to relax, see the dream places they have read or heard about, or to learn about new cultures. However, there is a group of people whose destination is a bit more surprising.

Zacznijmy od turystyki kontrowersyjnej na płaszczyźnie praw . Do tej  zaliczamy przede wszystkim turystykę aborcyjną, turystykę seksualną , turystykę eutanazyjną oraz narkoturystykę.Jest ona przede wszystkim związana z łamaniem prawa lub podejmowaniem takich działań, które mają na celu obejście przepisów prawa. Zwykle polega ona na tym, że podróżujemy z kraju, w którym są one zabronione do krajów, w którym są one legalne. 

Przykładem turystyki aborcyjnej sa kraje jak Irlandia czy Polska, gdzie przepisy w tej kwestii są bardzo restrykcyjne, a kierunkami destynacji są na przykład Czechy, Szwecja czy Wielka Brytania, gdzie aborcji można dokonać legalnie. Co do kwestii turystyki seksulanej możemy mówić tu przede wszystkim o turystach z krajów przede wszystkim zamożnych podróżujących do krajów biedniejszych w celu zaspokojenia przede wszystkim potrzeb seksulanych. Narkoturysta odbywa podróże przede wszystkim w celu uzyskania narkotyków, środków odurzających czy też leków, które są nielagalne w kraju, z którego ten ten turysta pochodzi. Do głównych destynacji  podróży tego typu należy przede wszystkim, Tajlandia, Indonezja, Birma, Maroko, California czy Amsterdam.

Let's start with controversial tourism on the plane of law. This  one includes especially abortion tourism, sex tourism, euthanasia tourism and narcotics tourism, which is primarily related to breaking the law or undertaking activities that aim to circumvent the law. It usually consists in traveling from a country where they are forbidden by law to countries where they are legal.

An example of abortion tourism are countries like Ireland or Poland, where regulations in this matter are very restrictive, and the destinations of destination are, for example countries like  the Czech Republic, Sweden or the United Kingdom, where abortions can be "performed" legally. As for the issue of sexuality tourism, we can speak here first of all of tourists from primarily wealthy countries traveling to poorer countries in order to satisfy primarily sexual needs. The drug tourist travels primarily to obtain drugs, narcotic drugs or medications that are illegal in the country where this tourist comes from. The main travel destinations of this type include primarily Thailand, Indonesia, Burma, Morocco, California  or  Amsterdam.

Kolejną gałęzią jest turystyka kontrowersyjna oparta  na płaszczyźnie etyczno-moralnej. Do tej zaliczamy tanatoturystykę oraz turystykę klęsk żywiołowych. Ta pierwsza traktuje miejsca śmierci jak swoistego rodzaju atrakcje turystyczne wywołujące  lęk, grozę oraz ciekawość razem wzięte. A jednocześnie zmierza w kierunku komercjalizacji pewnych przestrzeni związanych ze śmiercią w celu  zapokojenia a także zaciekawienia turystów organizując na przykład pokazy tortur lub egzekucji czy budując lochy strachu.

Ta druga natomiast związana jest z miejscami różnych klęsk żywiołowych takich jak liczne huragany, trzęsienia ziemi czy erupcje wulkanów. Turystą kieruje wówczas aspekt natury moralnej - jest on przede wszystkim ciekaw jak wygląda z pierwszej ręki nięszczęście, które dotknęło innych ludzi.

Another branch of controversial tourism based on an ethical and moral plane. This one includes death tourism and natural disaster tourism. The first one treats the places of death as a kind of tourist attractions that cause fear, terror and curiosity combined. At the same time, it aims to commercialize certain areas related to death to satisfy tourists's curiosity by organizing, for example, demonstrations of tortures or executions or building dungeons of fear.

The second one on the other hand, is associated with places of various natural disasters such as numerous hurricanes, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. The tourist is then guided by a moral aspect - he/she is first of all curious about what first-hand misery  that has affected other people looks like.

Do turystyki kontrowersyjnej opartej o aspekt kulturowy zaliczamy turystykę halal a także turystykę slumsów.  Pierwsza z nich  powstała z myślą o turystach przestrzegających ściśle zasad Islamu. Wynika ona z chęci podkreślenia przez muzułmanów ich  tożsamości; pozwala im wypoczywać w innych krajach zgodnie z regułami islamu. Przykładem są hotele  wybudowane w stylistyce arabskiej, posiadające ściśle wyznaczone sekcje damskie oraz męskie, w których ponadto nie ma kasyn oraz nie serwuje się napojów alkoholowych. 

Druga z nich polega natomiast na kilkugodzinnym zwiedzaniu slumsów, getta czy też innego rodzaju dzielnic zakazanych w celu dostarczenia dreszczyku emocji czy ekscytacji. Jedną z najpopularniejszych tego typu  wypraw  są : dzielnica Dharavi w Bombaju czy Favela tour w Rio De Janeiro.

Nawiązującą nieco  do turystyki kontrowersyjnej o aspekcie kulturowym jest także turystyka  o aspekcie estetycznym. Inaczej nazywana turystyką codzienności. Polega ona na eksploracji nieszablonoewych zakątków miejskich, często dzielnic zakazanych w celu zobaczenia tego co turysytycznie nieskażone, autentyczne. Ci turyści szukają przede wszystkim miejsc poza centrum miast, zwykłych budynków , biurowców czy innych zakątków, których nie umieszcza się w przewodnikach turystycznych. W Porto w Portugalii istnieje nawet biuro, które oferuje turystom wycieczkę pokazującą wyłacznie brzydką stronę miasta.

Controversial tourism based on a cultural aspect includes halal tourism and also slum tourism. The first of them was created for tourists who strictly follow the principles of Islam. It is result of the desire by Muslims to emphasize their identity; allows them to rest in other countries in accordance with Islamic rules. An example are hotels built in Arabian style, having strictly designated women's and men's sections, in which there are no casinos and alcoholic beverages are not served.

The second one, however, involves visiting slums, the ghetto, or other prohibited areas for several hours to provide a thrill or excitement. One of the most popular trips of this type are: the Dharavi district in Mumbai or the Favela tour in Rio De Janeiro.

Aesthetic tourism is also a bit referring to controversial tourism with a cultural aspect. Otherwise called everyday tourism. It involves the exploration of unconventional urban corners, often forbidden districts, to see what is unpolluted by tourists, authentic. These kind of  tourists are looking primarily for places outside the city center, ordinary buildings, office buildings or other corners that are not included in tourist guides. In Porto, in Portugal, there is even an office that offers tourists a tour showing only the ugly side of the city.

 Ostatnią gałęzią turystyki kontrowersyjnej, którą chciałąbym dziś krótko omówić jest turystyka, która bierze pod uwagę  aspekt zdrowotny. Zaliczamy do niej turystykę ekstremalną oraz turystykę katastrof. Ma ona miejsce wtedy gdy pojawia się realne zagrożenie zdrowia a nawet życia turysty. Turysta w tym przypadku nastawiony jest na przeżywanie bardzo intensywnych emocji. Oczekują oni "przygody" bazującej trochę na granicy życia czy śmierci. Do tego typu kontrowersji zalicza się między innymi rafting, survival czy narciarstwo ekstramalne, a także wyjazdy do miejsc o skrajnie niekorzystnych warunkach jak na przykład pustynie czy regiony zagrożone wojną.

Turystyka katastrof jest natomiast związana z miejscami, w których miały one niegdyś miejsce. Do najpopularniejszych miejsc tego typu należy z pewnoscią zaliczyć Czarnobyl. IStnieje wiele biur, które oferują wycieczki po "zakazanej strefie" w tym miasta duchów, czyli Prypeci oraz Rudego Lasu.

The last branch of controversial tourism that I would like to briefly discuss today is tourism, which takes into account the health aspect. We include extreme tourism and catastrophe tourism. It occurs when there is a real threat to the health and even life of a tourist. In this case, the tourist is focused on experiencing very intense emotions. They expect an "adventure" based on the border between life and death. This type of controversy includes, among others, rafting, survival or extreme skiing, and also trips to places with extremely unfavorable conditions such as deserts or regions threatened by war.

However, catastrophe tourism is associated with the places where catastrophes  

took place. Chernobyl is certainly one of the most popular places of this type. There are many offices that offer tours around the "forbidden zone" including the ghost town of Pripyat and the Red Forest.

Na turystykę kontrowersyjną trafiłam trochę przypadkowo. Od kilku lat bowiem interesowały mnie pewnego rodzaju budynki ( o tym obiecuję napisać Wam nieco więcej innym razem) . Rozmawiałam o tym kiedyś z koleżnakami z pracy , Jedna z nich śmiała się, że uprawiam czasami jakiś rodzaj turystyki patologicznej. Z ciekawości wpisałam to określenie w wyszukiwarce i właśnie wtedy dowiedziłam się nieco więcej na temat turystyki kontrowersyjnej, która jest nieco szerszym zagadnieniem. Mam nadzieję, że temat Was trochę zaciekawił. Chętnie też dowiem się jaki rodzaj turstyki najchętniej uprawiacie. Co jest zwykle celem Waszych turstycznych podbojów. :-)

I came across controversial tourism a bit by accident. For several years, I was interested in certain types of buildings (I promise to write you a little more about it another time). One day I talked about this with colleagues from work,  and one of them laughed that sometimes I do some kind of pathological tourism. By curiosity I entered this term in the Google search and  then I have learned a little more about controversial tourism, which is a slightly broader issue. I hope you found the topic interesting.
